We hired Johnny to play during our ceremony and for cocktail hour. It was one of the best decisions we made for the day. His music during the ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Hearing that my wife was a big Disney fan during our vows, Johnny switched to a Disney playlist halfway through cocktail hour and it was a hit! The true sign of a top-notch musician is someone who can read the audience and adapt on the fly. Weeks later, our guests still rave about Johnny and tell us we should have hired him to play longer (we agree!). Johnny was the ultimate professional throughout the entire process, from planning to the day of. He had a meeting with us to go over our music preferences and work through the flow of the ceremony. Johnny is amazing and absolutely set the tone for our beach wedding with his amazing ukulele and vocals. He went above and beyond to make sure we loved the songs he was going to play. He is so talented and everyone at our wedding was raving about him all day. He played the song I walked down the aisle to, which had me balling the entire time! He also played our favorite song for our first dance song which will be a moment we will remember forever. From beginning to end, perfect. Johnny arrived early and was ready to go once our guests arrived. Johnny began with some background music for our cocktail hour and dinner. Once dinner was over, although a solo performance, he had people on the dance floor the entire time. All our guests had a great time. There are no words to express how happy and grateful we are that Johnny was part of our wedding day From the beginning, Johnny was unbelievably accommodating and friendly, and we knew off the bat we could trust him. We weren't necessarily looking for a ukulele player, but Johnny's rendition of Book of Love had us hooked and we knew he was the right fit. From our first call, he made us extremely comfortable and went above and beyond - he learned songs that were special to us, set us up with a violinist for the prelude and ceremony, and sent us an entire list so we could put them on our DJ's "do not play" list for the reception. On the wedding day, he arrived early and was professional and friendly to all. Having live music made a huge impact on the ceremony and he played the songs that were special to us perfectly. -Lisa C.

Johnny was awesome! Everyone at our wedding loved him. He played ukulele for our ceremony and did a beautiful job, and he also played piano for our cocktail hour. Super professional, super accommodating! Can't say enough great things about him. He really knows what he's doing. He also provided us with mics for our ceremony and he even learned some new songs to play for our ceremony on the ukulele. He is wonderful, so glad we hired him for our wedding!! We had our wedding ceremony on the beach and thought a ukulele would be perfect for the vibe we were going for. Johnny was great right from the start! He is so talented and was able to play every song we requested, most of which were very alternative. Not only did he know the songs and/or learn them, his arrangements were flawless. His music helped set the whole vibe we were going for. I hope we have another life event of some sort we

We gave Johnny a complicated set of requests: perform 3 songs (singing, guitar, ukulele), but with different groups of family/friends who can only meet the wedding weekend. We needed him to arrange the songs and coordinate the rehearsal. We knew it was a lot. But Johnny’s modest confidence and professionalism earned him the respect of those we asked to perform with him, meant that the performers loved rehearsing, and gave us an end result that was so much better than we expected. Johnny is a talented musician and arranger, and a strong leader. We are truly indebted to him for making our somewhat crazy musical vision come to life. We can't recommend him enough. -Casey H

Johnny was amazing! Such talent! From the moment we contacted him and throughout the experience it was always pleasant, professional and courteous. He learned new songs that were requested by my daughter for the wedding. He also played a couple of Disney tunes on piano during our cocktail hour as he noted some "fairy tail, Disney" moments during the ceremony. Birthday Party in Westport, CT on 9/5/2015
John is a terrific talent and was a great addition to my wife's surprise birthday party. He plays beautifully and has a wonderful voice. Personable. Funny. He fit right in. Everyone loved him. His ukulele skills were an added extra and he serenaded us outside on our terrace after playing our piano in the living room. A great find and a great guy. -Russ H
